Imaginary Vessels (For Sally): Foundation Press

This wallpaper featured in Sally Madge: Nowhere better than this place, an exhibition celebrating the life and works of Sally Madge held at Newcastle Contemporary Art, January 2023.

I was fortunate enough to take part in a few workshops run by Sally, and regard her as a friend. Her diverse contemporary art practice encompasses sculpture, performance, collage, photography, installation and film. 

The wallpaper, created by Foundation Press for this exhibition, was the backdrop to a space housing a ‘kitchen table’ where play and discussion could take place.
